Christopher Lamb
Inspired by Mikhail Baryshnikov in American Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker”, Christopher Lamb began studying dance in 1997. Already a classical violinist since the age of four, he found dance a natural extension of music and, in 2005, discovered acting as a natural extension of dance. Now a stage and screen actor and director and lead violinist for the Mediterranean Fusion band Safar, he continues to use dance to enhance his acting (in roles such as Algernon Moncrieff in “The Importance of Being Earnest” and Duke Bluebeard in his own short film “The Castle of Four Doors”) and to use music and acting to enhance his dancing and also his own choreography.
A self-proclaimed “neo-aesthete”, Christopher’s artistic interests have also come to expand to the worlds of photography and writing.
