Grace Anne Anderson
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Grace Anne Anderson began her dance training at Peachtree City Civic Ballet Company under the direction of Kathy Senger and Brenda Hotard, supported by instruction from Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education principal teacher, Armando Luna. She attended multiple summer intensives at companies such as Ballet Magnificat! in Jackson, MS. During all four years of her undergraduate degree, Grace Anne was a member of Lipscomb University's Foundations Dance Theatre, shooting dance for film and performing works in the company's variety show, Elevate, choreographed by Kari Smith, Maggie Pelton, and Bakari King, among other choreographers and students. After moving to Spokane in 2023 to pursue an MFA in Poetry through EWU, Grace Anne served as poetry editor for Willow Springs Magazine and has performed in multiple shows with Kindling Productions, including Ghostlight and Rising Tide. Her writing has been featured on Spokane Public Radio and elsewhere, including in Poetry Northwest, Blood Orange Review, Red Branch Review, and The Shore literary magazines.
